In the middle of the mountainous relief, where hills enclose numerous lakes and lagoons of crystal clear waters surrounded by legendary araucarias, is born the National Park Huerquehue, or “The Place of Messengers” in Mapudungun.

As you walk through its paths, you will cross four lakes that are inside the park: Lake Trinquilco, Lago el Toro, Lago Verde and Lago Chico, known for the deep emerald color of its waters.

If you are attentive, you will be able to see up close the varied species that inhabit the sector, such as the woodpecker, the eaglet and the mysterious owl chucao.

Enjoy the breathtaking views practicing hikking in the park, and stop to contemplate life in the Patagonian forest surrounded by exuberant nature.
